To the Brethren of Lessing Lodge #464 F. & A.M.
I
feel privileged and honored to have had the opportunity to serve as
Worshipful Master in 1999 and am honored again and looking forward to
serving a second term as the 2010 Worshipful Master. I look forward to
a challenging and productive year. Lessing Lodge has long established
itself as a premier lodge and I hope to continue this tradition. The
past 2009 year has been an excellent year. Many thanks are due to 2009
Worshipful Master Eric G. Cure and all Lodge Officers who have made it
possible. Excellent degree work has occurred, which continues the
tradition that has always exemplified Lessing Lodge.
However, with
this Honor, comes great responsibility. I recognize and again, accept
this responsibility of serving as Master of Lessing Lodge #464. Thank
you for the confidence you have placed in me.
Reminiscing of years gone by,
I realize every day how important the Masonic Order is and the wonderful
Masonic Principals that Free Masonry teaches. I have traveled to
Indianapolis to Grand Lodge of Indiana on numerous occasions and have
always been honored to be in the company of so many outstanding Masonic
Brethren.
I would like to take this
opportunity to thank all of the Past Masters of Lessing Lodge for all of
their help and guidance throughout my Masonic career. I have been
taught many valuable lessons. I often think about our Brethren who have
been called from Labor and the values they have instilled in all of us.
The good works continue on due to the enduring efforts of our past
Brethren. I am honored to be called a Mason.
I wish you and your family a
happy and prosperous year!
Yours in Faith
Fraternally,
John Louis Scheidel III PM
Worshipful Master
